Course Overview

Did you ever wonder how continuity ensures a positive outcome for your organization, rather than simply acting as a process? Throughout this course, you will be learning to design and implement a reconstitution plan, and you will become proficient on how reconstitution planning ensures that positive outcome. As the final phase of continuity, reconstitution is an integral part of your organization’s continuity plan. This course addresses each part of a reconstitution plan and explores best practices to implement your plan. By learning about the elements of reconstitution, federal requirements for reconstitution planning, and the other information shared in this course, you can make a meaningful contribution to your organization’s efforts to recover from any disaster and become competent in the complexities of reconstitution planning.

Primary Audience

Participation is open to Federal, State, local, tribal, and territorial government employees responsible for COOP and reconstitution planning.

Prerequisites

Participants must have knowledge of COOP Programs and the Federal Continuity Directives 1 and 2.
