Course Overview

This course covers the last four steps of the ISC Risk Management Process (RMP): identifying and assessing risk, developing a risk management strategy, implementing a risk management strategy, and measuring performance. The course also covers the five Levels of Protection (LOPs) and explains how the Design Basis Threat Report (DBT) supports the RMP. The learner must achieve a minimum passing score of 75% on final knowledge assessments or demonstrate mastery on performance assessments or research assignments to earn the IACET CEU.

Course Objectives:

  • Describe the five LOPs identified in the RMP
  • Explain how the DBT supports the RMP
  • Apply the RMP and DBT to determine the Necessary LOP for a facility
  • Interpret risk acceptance and identify the necessary documentation for accepting risk
  • Measure Performance
