This site is maintained by the Emergency Management Institute (EMI), which is a part of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The site is intended for the use of those Federal, State and Local personnel, managers, and instructors who have direct involvement with the All-Hazards Position Specific Training Program. Users include: Regional Training Managers, State Training Officers, NIMS Training Coordinators, Incident Management Team members, Statewide Interoperability Coordinators, National Wildland Coordinating Group, Department of the Army, qualified Position Specific instructors, and other persons having direct involvement with the program.

The primary goal of the NIMS ICS All-Hazards Position Specific Training Program is to provide advanced level training needed by personnel responsible for managing incidents of greater complexity than those typically encountered during routine operations. This training is designed to provide all-hazards competencies and behaviors for Command and General Staff and selected Unit Leader positions within a Type III and/or Type IV Incident Management Team (IMT) environment. Competencies in the training are focused around the ability of the student to assume specific position responsibilities, lead assigned personnel, communicate effectively, and to ensure the completion of assigned tasks in order to meet identified objectives for the position.

Site users will find links to several different sites including:

In order to maintain site control and integrity, some links have been password protected.
