We are pleased to announce upcoming offerings of the newly revised E/K-0108: Community Mass Care/Emergency Assistance course through the National Disaster and Emergency Management University (NDEMU). This course is designed to provide training for local communities to prepare for and manage the Mass Care/Emergency Assistance (MC/EA) functions effectively.

Course Overview

This newly revised course provides training for local communities to prepare for and manage the Mass Care/Emergency Assistance (MC/EA) functions effectively. The goal is to prepare community agencies, organizations, and businesses to work together in coordination with emergency management and traditional MC providers to plan and provide MC/EA services to those affected by disaster.

Who Should Attend

This course is intended for community agencies, nongovernmental organizations, governmental agencies, and private sector organizations that will collaborate to provide MC/EA services.


 

Prerequisites

Completion of the IS13: NDEMU Conduct and Behavior Course is compulsory before participating in any NDEMU training offered in-person at the National Emergency Training Center (NETC). It’s important to note that this course and exam are not required annually; they only need to be completed once. This course will be treated as a mandatory prerequisite for all courses.
