We are pleased to announce upcoming offering of the 0289: State Volunteer and Donations Management course through the National Disaster and Emergency Management University (NDEMU). This course is designed to strengthen the ability of state-level professionals and partners to effectively coordinate volunteers and manage donations during disaster response and recovery operations.

Course Overview

This course prepares participants to manage volunteers and donations efficiently and responsibly during disasters. Participants will explore best practices for coordinating with voluntary organizations, developing clear public messaging for volunteers and donors, and organizing donation centers and volunteer reception sites. The virtual delivery option allows participants to engage in interactive scenarios from their own location.

This course is intended for state-level and emergency management professionals who coordinate volunteers and donations during disaster response and recovery.
