Calendar Year Extensions

Certain IS Courses contain a “calendar-year” extension in order to allow FEMA staff to retake the course as a recurring requirement.

The following courses currently have a “calendar-year” extension.

Upon successfully passing the exams for these courses, the student transcript will store the record with the appropriate calendar-year extension to indicate which year the FEMA staff person completed their recurring requirement:

  • IS 18 FEMA EEO Employee Course
  • IS 19 FEMA EEO Supervisor Course
  • IS 20 Diversity Awareness
  • IS 21 Civil Rights and Disaster Assistance
  • IS 35 FEMA Safety Orientation
  • IS 37 Managerial Safety and Health
  • IS 107 FEMA Travel Rules and Regulations
  • IS 246 Implementing the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS)
