EMI LMS to Rollout July 10th, 2023
EMI is finalizing the process to rollout a new learning management system to enhance student training. The system provides an environment that allows for a more interactive experience for self-paced courses, progress tracking, and a host of other student services in one convenient location.
We're excited to announce that the new LMS rollout is scheduled for 7/10/2023! To ensure a smooth transition, there will be an outage period from 6/30/2023 to 7/10/2023.

Prepare your account for the new system before the outage begins

What You Should Do Now to Prepare
It is extremely important to complete the following steps to ensure your student information is accurate. Completing this action will help ensure a succesful migration of your student data

Verify Your FEMA SID Information
Sign in to your FEMA SID account at:
- FEMA Student Identification (SID) System (dhs.gov)
- Click Edit Profile, and verify the accuracy of your account information (email address, personal info., etc.)
- There are Self-help actions and FAQs available to assist you on the FEMA SID site

Get a Copy of Your Transcript
Request a copy of your Student Transcript (Independent Study only)
- Sign in to the Student Portal and request you transcript:
- Emergency Management Institute (EMI) | Student Portal (fema.gov)

Verify your Transcript
- Review your transcript for accuracy
- Make inquires for any corrections with the Independent Study Program before the new system goes live
