EMI is finalizing the process to rollout a new learning management system to enhance student training. The system provides an environment that allows for a more interactive experience for self-paced courses, progress tracking, and a host of other student services in one convenient location.

We're excited to announce that the new LMS rollout is scheduled for 7/10/2023! To ensure a smooth transition, there will be an outage period from 6/30/2023 to 7/10/2023.

Important Dates Until Launch

  • To ensure a smooth transition, there will be an outage period from June 30th, 2023 until July 10th, 2023

    Prepare your account for the new system before the outage begins

  • Currently, the rollout of our new Learning Management System (LMS) is scheduled for the July 10th, 2023

What You Should Do Now to Prepare

It is extremely important to complete the following steps to ensure your student information is accurate. Completing this action will help ensure a succesful migration of your student data

  1. Verify Your FEMA SID Information

    Sign in to your FEMA SID account at:

  2. Get a Copy of Your Transcript

    Request a copy of your Student Transcript (Independent Study only)

  3. Verify your Transcript

    • Review your transcript for accuracy
    • Make inquires for any corrections with the Independent Study Program before the new system goes live

  • LMS help desk will be available

    Don't worry! The new system's Help Desk will assist with login issues.

  • All courses will return July 10th

    All current Independent Study Courses will be available in the new system starting 7/10/2023.

  • Complete prerequisite courses before June 30th, 2023

    Complete prerequisite courses before the outage for any courses starting the week of 7/10/2023. We recommend completing prerequisites for the entire month of July before the outage.

  • Yes, your records are safe

    Yes, your student records will migrate to the new system and be available on 7/10/2023.

  • LMS help desk will be available

    A Help Desk will be available to assist with any issues.
