On or about August 2, 2008, there will be a change in the Security procedures at the National Emergency Training Center. If you are visiting the facility for any reason, please be prepared to present a government-issued photographic identification for yourself and anyone traveling with you. Also be prepared to have your vehicle searched. If you have business with a particular staff member, please contact them at least 24 hours in advance so that the names can be placed on an access list.

EMI Courses & Schedules

To take a course at EMI, applicants must meet the selection criteria and prerequisites specified for each course. Participants may not take the same course more than once.

EMI courses are generally limited to U.S. residents, however, each year a limited number of international participants are accommodated in Emergency Management Institute courses.
