IS-420 - Implementing the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program

Course Description

This course provides an overview of the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board Program. It also instructs potential program participants about the requirements of the program, eligibility for funding, and participant responsibilities, as well as the responsibilities of the National Board and FEMA.

Course Objectives

At the end of this course, you should be able to:

  • Identify responsibilities and requirements of the National Board, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), State Set-Aside (SSA) Committees, Local Boards, and Local Recipient Organizations (LROs).
  • Identify the requirements of all EFSP-funded LROs regarding program compliance, reporting, documentation, and submission of documentation.
